Annotation

The complete set of recordings made by Claudio Abbado for Deutsche Grammophon and Decca. The set includes 258 CDs, 8 DVDs, a 112-page hardcover book with essays and photographs, and two booklets with tracklistings and credits. All CDs have original jacket artwork. The set is limited to 2,650 copies.

The set was originally released without the recording of Mozart's Piano Concerto no. 16 by Rudolf Serkin and Claudio Abbado. This missing disc was available on request from Deutsche Grammophon.
