4 To The Floor Volume 01 is the first in a brand new series, presenting timeless house sounds for those prepared to dig a little deeper for their music fix. Ranging from the classic to the contemporary, this compilation unearths more than 50 house music gems, exposing the rich seam of quality that lies beneath the genre’s well-trodden surface.

Soulful vocal cuts like Masters At Work’s underappreciated remix of Carolyn Harding & Damon Horton’s ‘Sing A Song’ and Seven Davis Jr’s bumping ‘One’ accompany atmospheric instrumentals such as Quentin Harris’ ‘Haunted’ and the Henrik Schwarz remix of ‘Equinox’ by Code 718. Raw dubs of Chez Damier’s ‘Can You Feel It’ and Hardrive’s ‘Sindae’ are complemented by tech-tinged remixes by Maya Jane Coles and Carl Craig, whilst undisputed classics from Josh One, DJ Gregory and Isolée are certainties to light up any knowledgeable dancefloor.
