Annotation

There are several versions of this album. The first version, of which only about 200 copies were printed, was recorded and released in 1956, with only harmonica accompaniment by Paddy Clancy. The same songs were re-recorded with guitar, harp, tin whistle and drum accompaniment and released in 1959 and 1961.

This version is a remastered re-issue of the 1959 release, except for the track "O'Donnell Abú" which was taken from the original 1956 recording, recognizable by the track length of 2:03 as opposed to 1:43 on the 1959 release.
