The Genuine Never Ending Tour Covers Collection 1988-2000 Revisited

~ Release by Bob Dylan (see all versions of this release, 1 available)

Annotation

A complete upgrade of "The Genuine Never Ending Tour Covers Collection 1988-2000" compilation.

A full upgrade of previous collections from the best sources available...and many bonus tracks so that every cover performed from each year is represented at least once.

...a note on this, I noticed that the Original files in only a handful of cases in 1992 & 1998 were better than the other sources I found. In this case, I have kept these original tracks, 97% of the tracks are upgraded.

Also represented is more than one version if for example there is a solo acoustic version & a version with the band.

I have only adjusted the volume & fade in/out of tracks to give a better listening experience as the nature of the collection is that it comes from a vast number of different sources. No Compression, EQ, or any other kind of tampering with the audio was done.

My hope is that is the Definitive Super Deluxe Collector's Edition!

305 tracks in total
144 tracks upgraded from a better source
134 bonus tracks not in the previous collection(s)
16 tracks missing from the previous collection(s)
13 NET years

A huge thank you to all the tapers & uploaders & the ER community!

P.S. Cover Artwork has also been created. A Front cover image (above) for the overall set & an image for each year in the downloads.

P.P.S. I've put a huge amount of work into this, I've tried to be as careful as possible, I hope mistakes (if any) are minor.

Some background:

"OK, so I finished compiling the NET covers in chronological order. But by the time I got to the end of it I was already really disappointed with the quality of the earlier material.
I have begun a project to completely overhaul the collection, replacing every track with a better quality source and adding in some bonus tracks to hopefully provide a better listening experience.
The goal is to replace all tracks from the original 1988-2000 collection from a better sourincludesinclude 1 example of every song covered in every year. So if a song was played in 1990, 1991 and 1992 we would have a total of 3 versions..
