Annotation

1. The main opera ends on CD 3, track 7. The last 3 tracks contain the historical Alternate Scène and Fabliau (in place of the Gavotte, Acte III, Scène I) written by Massenet for Mme. Bréjeau-Silver. (CD Booklet, p.5 and p. 90)
2. There is a Ballet with a 5 part presentation that ends Acte III, Scène I. This is faithful to the way the opera is presented in vivo.
3.The Opera contains singing roles for seven minor roles: La Servante (Heather Wills), L'Hôtelier (Leslie Fysin, baritone), Deux Gardes, Le Portier (Andre Maranne, speaking role), un Sergent (Nico Castel, tenor), un Archer, & un Joueur
Artists for these roles are not designated in this recording, but have been found on Germasn and French releases..
