The Dungeon’s Depths is the second full-length project by Nigerian Afrofusion artist Krexx Nv, released independently on July 9, 2022. The 10-track album captures the tension of survival, ambition, and identity in the modern Nigerian landscape, blending Afrobeat, rap, street poetry, and alternative fusion.

Written and recorded during a turbulent period of Krexx Nv’s life, the album explores the metaphor of the “dungeon” — a space of darkness, pressure, and hidden struggle — as both a personal and collective reality. Songs like “Sodom” (feat. Danyerho) and “Therapy” reflect the harsh contradictions of street life, while “Pressure” and “2 Night” balance vulnerability with nightlife release. Collaborations with Danyerho (on Sodom, Tic Tac Toe, and Alone) and Holyfield (on Come Alive) bring additional texture, from reggae-inflected hooks to soulful counterpoints.

Stylistically, the album pushes beyond conventional Afrobeat. It incorporates street-driven lyricism, melodic rap cadences, and experimental production that leans on raw storytelling rather than polished surfaces.
