Annotation

James Grant & Friends and This Is The Kit play the first of three Celtic Connections specials from The Quay Sessions with Edith Bowman, recorded at the CCA in Glasgow.

This Is The Kit count Jose Gonzalez, The National and Iron and Wine among their fans and their latest album Bashed Out was named by Elbow's Guy Garvey as his album of the 2015. They are led by singer-songwriter Kate Stables.

James Grant has had a musical career spanning over 3 decades - including the bands Friends Again and Love And Money. His live shows are always highlights of Celtic Connections and he'll be playing a set incorporating some classic songs, accompanied by Monica Queen and Fraser Speirs.
