This release falsely lists G.D. Young as the snare drum player on tracks 2-05 to 2-09. However, during that session recorded by Alan Lomax, the snare drum was played by Lonnie Young's son, Lonnie Young Jr.
This is documented in the Lomax Digital Archive: https://archive.culturalequity.org/node/849
G.D. Young did play with Ed Young and Lonnie Young Sr., but this was several years later and not during the 1959 recordings for Alan Lomax.
