Live/1975–85

~ Release by Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band (see all versions of this release, 129 available)

Annotation

In 1999, 11 Bruce Springsteen studio albums, 2 live albums, and 1 EP were reissued in mini‐LP cardboard sleeves as part of a “Nice Price” series. The series was issued in two waves, one on 21 Aug 1999 and one on 22 Sep 1999. The first wave includes “Greetings From Asbury Park, N.J.”, “The Wild, The Innocent & The E Street Shuffle”, “Born To Run”, “Darkness On The Edge Of Town”, “The River”, “Nebraska”, and “Chimes Of Freedom”. The second wave was on sale for a few hours in very few stores in Japan before it was withdrawn. It includes “Born In The U.S.A.”, “Live/1975–85”, “Tunnel Of Love”, “Human Touch”, “Lucky Town”, “In Concert / MTV Plugged”, and “The Ghost Of Tom Joad”.

In 1999 Bruce camp vetoed the commercial release of a second wave Japanese miniature LP paper sleeve CD reissues from Born In The U.S.A. (SONY SRCS 8984) to The Ghost Of Tom Joad (SONY SRCS 9474), right before the scheduled date in September 1999. As a result, the second batch was on sale in Japan a few hours in a very few stores before they were withdrawn. Promo copies were already sent out and they were not retrieved.

This entry is for the commercial version WITHOUT “sample” imprint on disc’s and “not for sale” on back cover.
