Back cover simply states:
“This three record set is a stereo, line recording of the historic December 14th show at Winterland in San Francisco, California. For Fan Club distribution only. Buy all of Bruce’s fine products on CBS Records and Tapes.”

Black sleeve, white lettering. Single‐pocket/non‐gatefold sleeve (all three discs go in the same pocket).

Champion, Decca and Kingston labels. Each record has the same label on both sides.

Title on Front Cover: “Winterland, 1978”
Title on Spine: “Live In The Promised Land” (these words also appears on the back cover)

The artist credit on the spine is simply Bruce Springsteen (no mention of the The E‐Street Band/“E Streeters”).

Neither artist nor album title are mentioned on any one of the six labels.
