The Unforgettable Fire (distributed by Ariola – magenta design theme continued to back)

Packaging at back continues the magenta background from the front and the CD printing is only black on silver. Text on the back says "Distributed by the Ariola Group of Companies".
This differs from the other CD release bearing the same barcode which says "Distributed by BMG" and has later Island branding: a white background on the rear of the packaging, full spectrum of colour on the back graphics and a blue "Island" logo printed on the CD
N.B. Packaging says "Printed in Western Germany" which sets the date before reunification
