Need for Speed: Underground ("Classics" re-issue)

~ Release by Various Artists (see all versions of this release, 4 available)

Annotation

Entry for the UK "EA Games Classics" re-issue on PC CD-ROM.

The track-list you see below are the tracks that appear on the CD-ROM itself, namely CD-ROM2.

The audio streams are contained within a single solid file, SNDSTREAMS\STRM_Music_UG0_MB.ast, and this can be split using a fan-made tool called "Need for Speed Underground Music Extractor v1.0.0". The resulting files are then .WAV audio files that use the PCM S16 LE (s16l) audio codec, with a sample rate of 22050Hz at 16 bits per sample.

Track titles and performers are worked from the titles given within the file itself.

Durations are via clustering the output files in Picard and submitting them to the database.
