Annotation

2018 Varèse Sarabande CD Club deluxe, limited edition release (3,000 copies!) of the expanded soundtrack to "The Cowboys," previously issued by them in shorter form in 1994, but here mixed, edited, and mastered by Mike Mattesino, composed by John Williams (4), and performed by The Hollywood Studio Symphony under the baton of the composer. The packaging includes a sixteen-page booklet with detailed liner notes (including restoration details!) by Mattesino, technical information, photos from the production, and a list of the members of The Hollywood Studio Symphony on the interior pages; and color front and back covers, the former featuring key art from the production, and the latter featuring a photo from the production.
