Rochester – 2nd December 1980 (mjk5510 transfer)

~ Release by Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band (see all versions of this release, 3 available)

Annotation

Disc 3 Track 5 is patched with a different source 1980‐12‐02 Rochester (Flood Version), which is of lesser quality.

This is different than the torrent here:
http://jungleland.dnsalias.com/torrents-details.php?id=36376
in that this is an upgrade transferred from my tape copy

Only one available recorder on this night to my knowledge but this is a big upgrade over the River Flood version.
I got the tapes from a trader in the Buffalo/Rochester area and though he did not list the generation I believe it to be fairly low due to the lack of hiss and overall strong quality.

The River Flood version is very mid range/bass heavy indicating a high generation tape IMHO. It also runs slow.

Additionally, on the Flood version Prove It All Night is missing 30 seconds of the end of the song, on my tape version Prove It All Night is complete.
The other cuts are basically the same give or take a second or two.

Strangely my tape copy was missing Im A Rocker and Ive used the Flood version to make this complete, Ive tweaked it a bit to match closer to the rest of the show but the difference is very noticeable.

If you have any questions about downloading Ive attached old source vs new source samples below. First 15 seconds of the sample is from the flood version and the second 15 seconds is from my tape transfer version.

Thanks a the originally poster of the flood version and to hrubesh for the reseed so I could do some a/b comparisons which also allowed me to make this one complete.

The flood show was described as "for completists only" but for me at least this is now a HIGHLY enjoyable show.
