The Alternative Takes in Chronological Order 1930‐1944 says -1
Classic Chu Berry Columbia and Victor Sessions says -2 and the booklet says it comes from Meritt 12 https://musicbrainz.org/release/33823434-b15b-4a7b-8a0a-17f0bb8ed6ab

Then the comment on Discogs for Meritt 12 says it was previously released on Jazz Archives 8 but the timing from this one refers to the 2:30 version and not 2:40 like here.
As neither of the takes were released initially, it's possible the persons behind those releases assumed it was the take 2 since Jazz Archives 8 show "Previosuly unreleased".
