The Complete Savoy Master Takes (mono)

~ Release by Erroll Garner (see all versions of this release, 2 available)

Annotation

Series: Savoy Jazz Originals

Issued in 6 panel Digipak. Inside panels and trays are clear white. 20-page inserted booklet contains liner notes (10+2 pages), photos and discography.

There is some confusion about the exact rhythm section on some tracks, due to the original documentation of some sessions being lost over the years. Jesse Price may have replaced Alvin Stoller on a few tracks.

Principal source material for this project is original acetates preserved in Denon Records' Savoy vaults.
