A Prairie Home Companion: 40th Anniversary Collection

~ Release by Garrison Keillor (see all versions of this release, 1 available)

Annotation

Some of the credits in the liner notes are in error. The date given for the two Doc Watson tracks is 1/4/86, but that date was a rebroadcast of 4/21/84. Merle Watson is credited as a performer on those tracks, which would have been impossible in 1986 - but in fact he wasn't there in 1984, either; he was sick that day and didn't make it to the show.
