Annotation

The track list of this CD in Musicbrainz deviates from most websites (even including official site). The reason is, for the études-tableaux (Op. 33) most known listing got either the numbering or the keys wrong (or both!) The correct work number and keys shall be (Please refer to relevant Wikipedia page for more detail):

  1. F minor (track 9)
  2. C major (track 10)
  3. C minor (track 11)
  4. became Op. 39 No. 6, not recorded here
  5. D minor (track 12)
  6. E& minor (track 13)
  7. E& major (track 14)
  8. G minor (track 15)
  9. C# minor (track 16)

For now, Amazon uses D minor for both track 12 and 13, Decca lists track 12 in A minor, while Classical Archive matches the list above. The last piece in C# minor is simply not listed at all in Amazon and Decca.
