Mayking Records

MAKING RECORDS logo appears on many CDs from August 1988 after the company moved to Battersea. CDs and vinyl were pressed by MPO. A deal that meant MPO did not press for any other UK company.

From summer 1992 CD-Singles were glass mastered and pressed by Making, with albums glass mastered by Mayking but still pressed by MPO in France.

If a CD has a matrix pattern of 8digits + 2 digits + 1 character - i.e. 10249051 01 % then these will have had the glass mastered at PDO, UK. (Example: https://musicbrainz.org/release/dbc6a6aa-4d4b-4635-b0eb-acf67e273d81 )
