The matrix string of CDs show CDP UK LTD
Glassmasters are often produced at other plants, for example: If you find CDMxx in the matrix, select CDM (Malmö, Sweden) as Mastering and CDP UK Ltd. as Pressed by.
Sometimes there can be a mix of pressing plants with one release. This example, V Classic, has two CDs Mastered by EMI Swindon and one by CDM, Malmö. The CDs were then pressed by CDP UK.
Pressing hardware has moved between companies, so don't rely on it as identification. Mould SID code 1Lxx had been used by Damont for pressings until 1995. CD Plant AB was acquired by SDC DanDisc in 1997. Mould SID code IFPI 1Lxx appears on CDs manufactured by SDC GB Ltd showing pressing hardware continued under new owners.
Research Note: My money is on the pressing actually being done at SDC GB Ltd and CDP UK Ltd should be linked as "renamed to" but I don't have enough details to be certain.
