Frank Weyzig

Frank Weyzig is a Dutch composer, producer and band member. He started his music career in 1985 when he joined Dutch electronic wave legend ‘Clan of Xymox’ at the time they were signed with the English 4AD label. He played guitar and keyboards on their debut album “Clan of Xymox” and stayed with the band as live guitarist and keyboard player until 1990

From 1995 until 2000 Frank played with his Dutch ‘Psychedelic-Wave band 'Born For Bliss'. In 1996, their first pre-released cd-single, 'Arabia' (for 'Nuclear Blast - Deathwish Office') became an addicting club hit and made its way high into the German alternative charts. In 1997, already in the first week after its release, the full length album 'Flowing with the Flue' also entered high into the German alternative album charts...

The most recent project Frank is involved with is the one he shares with Carlo van Putten & Rob Keijzer. ‘'White Rose Transmission'’. In 2008, Frank joined the band and he did the production and co writing for the fourth White Rose Transmission album ‘Spiders in the Mind Web’, release date: may 7 - 2010 - on German label ECHOZONE.

In between these different moments of time that mark Frank Weyzig’s musical career there’s a lot of other stuff that he’s been doing… One of the most peculiar projects is without a doubt the “Stargazing Project” (2006 )that he shares with Remco Helbers. For this project, the main source of inspiration was the Internet. Inspired by the many mysteries of our time, conspiracies, alien abductions, ufo encounters and other strange events, Frank and Remco searched the internet for unusual sounds and recordings. These elements give shape to the StarGazing project in a very peculiar way.....

In 2010 Frank is coming back with Born For Bliss with the release of “Between Living and Dreaming” on German label ECHOZONE. This Born For Bliss album was initially recorded in 1999 but never released due to problems with their former management and record company. New release date: April 30 - 2010.
