Jebroer (Tim Kimman) grew up in Leiden and is a typical diamond in the rough. At home Jebroer always was the man of the house, raised by two women. He was an unwieldy adolescent but grew up to be a brother figure to many. (Jebroer translates to yourbrother.)
After starting of with another rapper from Leiden, Keizer, he was adopted by the hip/hop group Nouveau Riche with producer Boaz van de Beats.
His critically acclaimed debut album is Gouden Tranen with which Jebroer surprised the Dutch hip/hop scene with choosing a more mellow flow for the album and not the much anticipated party beats he is known for.
